A Nova Scotia social worker's registration has been revoked by the provincial regulator after she was accused of grooming and sexually assaulting a transgender boy while living in St. Catharines, Ont., and Greenwood, N.S. Sherri Boyd first faced restrictions in July 2022 when the alleged victim filed a complaint with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. The Nova Scotia College of Social Workers would not say where Boyd was working at the time the complaint was filed. Temperance Winger and her husband Cody took this photo before they attended the hearing of the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers would not say if it also investigated Boyd, who was registered under the name Sherri Lynn Ashcroft-Boyd.
