Sourav was rescued by police in Mymensingh on ThursdayFormer state minister of home affairs Sohel Taj has said his nephew Syed Iftekhar Alam Sourav is distressed—and not in good condition— following his rescue this morning. Sohel announced this to reporters at his residence, and also by a Facebook livestream, around 11am on Thursday. He said: “Sourav was found with his limbs tied, wearing only pants. The Mymensingh superintendent of police provided him with a bath and gave him some food after taking him to his house. “After his rescue, Sourav could not understand where he was.”Remarking about his phone-call with Sourav, he said: “Sourav is extremely distressed, which is why we want to keep him comfortable, and away from any mental pressure.
