The Evening Standard Magazine appears to have removed a braided crown from Knowles’s head in its cover image this week. Knowles subsequently published the original image including the braids on Instagram with the caption “dtmh”, an abbreviation of Don’t Touch My Hair, the name of a song on her latest album. In a series of tweets, Angelica Bastien said: “I am publicly disowning the Solange piece London Evening Standard published today. The Evening Standard has published full photos of Knowles on its website and Instagram page. The Guardian has contacted the Evening Standard for comment and is awaiting a reply.
