Every year 14th of February is marked by Lovers as a day of revitalizing their Love and their relationship in general. In African countries, a majority of people may not have a glimpse of the name behind Valentine and its history and thus celebrate it blindly. His feast day was the same as the Roman fertility festival of Lupercalia, which resulted in the association between Valentine's Day and love. In the Christian perspective, Christian love is selfless; it is giving to others without expecting something in return. Indeed Christian love should be Agape meaning “God’s love” or “Charity”.
