The north London club announced on Monday morning that they had parted company with the three-time Premier League champion, who had overseen a disappointing campaign. Recent defeats to West Ham and Manchester United, plus draws against Newcastle and Everton – both of which they took the lead in – meant Spurs were sitting in seventh place in the Premier League table. The South Korean enjoyed a good relationship with his axed manager and is sad to see him go, wishing him good luck at his next club. Sharing a picture of the two enjoying a tender moment, Son wrote on Instagram: ‘I have no words to describe how I’m feeling.
