Sonko was slightly ahead of Kidero at 18,546 votes as the incumbent managed 16,577 votes in 77 out of 3,378 polling stations. Esther Passaris had by midnight taken an early lead with 14,882 votes as Rachel Shebesh garnered 10,534 votes in 57 polling stations tallying by that time. KIAMBU COUNTYIn Kiambu County, Ferdinand Waititu took an early lead at 69,010 votes while William Kabogo garnered 17863 votes in the 200 polling stations tallying by midnight.
