The eight-times Paralympic gold medallist Sophie Christiansen is crowd funding to secure her Equestrian place at next summer's Paralympic Games in Paris after seeing her funding cut further by UK Sport just before Christmas. Reacting to news of the funding cut on X, Christiansen posted: “Merry Christmas from UK Sport as my funding has been cut again. On her GoFundMe page she writes: “I have found the perfect horse to campaign for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, but I need your help to raise funds to secure the ride! “Competing at the Paralympic Games is not only about winning gold medals. I can’t wait.”For more information on how to support Sophie on her quest to compete in Paris visit her GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-sophie-paris-2024
