As such, Sotto said they also expect Sen. Ralph Recto to be re-elected as the Senate President Pro Tempore; Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri to remain as the Senate Majority Leader and Sen. Franklin Drilon to still be the Senate minority leader. “We thought of holding a fellowship dinner instead of asking them to come early on Monday for the briefing, especially the new senators,” Sotto said. Sotto, however, said the matter of organizing the Senate committees may take them the entire session of July 23 and 24.
