The GIZ has issued a tender to plan, organise and implement two knowledge exchange visits (study tours) for South African research, innovation and capacity building stakeholders in the green hydrogen economy. Given this potential, several initiatives are underway in the field of green hydrogen and power-to-X (PtX) in South Africa. Despite the promising conditions for the development of a green hydrogen economy in South Africa, certain challenges persist.
