The app works as a database and phone book, helping parents access information and locate services close to home. Family Works manager Dawn Lloyd said the app had a steady number of people downloading it since it was launched last year in October. Presbyterian Support Southland marketing and communications manager Shelley Erskine said the uptake was particularly good in Southland.
