Hunter MacIntosh was killed at aged nine by his fifteen-year-old babysitter Daniel Cameron in the Southland town of Otautau in October 2019. A woman whose son was murdered by his babysitter is in hospital after being crushed by a car. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said a woman was crushed by a 4WD in Eton St, Otautau, about 10am on Sunday. King’s son Hunter MacIntosh was killed in their Otautau home on October 30, 2019. His babysitter, then 15-year-old Daniel Cameron, pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 11 years.
