Hong Kong (CNN) Zaran Vachha was born and raised in Hong Kong. "I've always considered Hong Kong my home, but I've always felt like an outsider," said Vachha. "Being a person of color in Hong Kong, you get looked down on, no matter what. An insufficient lawHong Kong's Race Discrimination Ordinance (RDO), enacted in 2008, is supposed to criminalize racial discrimination or harassment. Ethnic minorities protest against racial discrimination in Hong Kong in July 2006, as the government drafts the Race Discrimination Ordinance.
