A section of leaders from the Western region of Kenya have rallied stakeholders to improve the quality of education in the region. The leaders are equally sensitizing parents and students against cases of early pregnancy which is rampant in the region. During the event dubbed 'To invest in people, prioritize education,' Speaker Wetangula underscored the unity and cooperation amongst the Mulembe leaders that continues to attract the fruits of development in the region. Speaker Wetang'ula donated Sh5 million each to St Peter's Siboti and Nang'eni girls for a computer laboratory and a dormitory. The School Equipment Production Unit (SEPU) delivered science kits while the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) brought books.
