The written examination for the special 48th Bangladesh Civil Service, aimed at recruiting doctors, has taken place. A total of 41,025 candidates applied to sit the exam, according to Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) spokesperson SM Motiur Rahman. Speaking to bdnews24.com on Friday, Motiur said the results of the written test will be published on Monday, Jul 21. Only candidates who pass the written examination will be eligible to attend the 100-mark oral test. The 48th Special BCS circular was published on May 29, with intention to recruit 3,000 doctors.
