LAHORE: Despite spending the appropriate funds, the Government Special education Center in Mianwali has failed to meet its objectives whereas, the district education authority of Mianwali has not hired any teaching and supporting staff for the center, Pakistan Today learnt on Monday. To operate and carry out the project 21 posts were proposed with the addition of a rented building through district education authority. “The vehicles for the center were procured but not in use whereas the teaching staff and supporting staff was not hired under this project. While talking to Pakistan Today, Mianwali of Government Special Education Center Focal Person Muhammad Hafeez said, “We have given advertisements for hiring and the hiring process will be completed soon”. Regarding the objectives of the center, he said, “We have achieved the target of enrolling the number of students”.
