Share TweetBy Ben RosarioA Committee on Persons With Disabilities (PWD) has been formed in the House of Representatives to act on all measures addressing the welfare and affecting PWDs. Already, at least 28 measures have been referred to the committee which used to be sub-committee under the Committee on Social Services. Cayetano underscored the need to create the PWD panel which will handle legilsative measures addressing their concerns and welfare. TMeanwhile, Cayetano also disclosed that the House Committee on Disaster Management, chaired by Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez, will prioritize legislative measures proposing better risk reduction management programs.
