Speed limit sign moved after child nearly hit on ‘deathtrap’ Tipperary road

Speed limit signage on a Tipperary road where a child was almost knocked down earlier this year has been moved. Cllr Morgan Walsh said that an 80 kilometre per hour speed limit that was in place outside the estate couldn’t possibly be right. Now, Cllr Morgan Walsh has confirmed that the speed limit sign has been removed and relocated elsewhere on the Borrisokane Road. However, the relocation of the speed limit sign isn’t all that Cllr Morgan Walsh is campaigning for, adding that the work doesn’t stop just because the sign has been moved. Thanking residents for raising their concerns, Cllr Morgan Walsh said that the voices of the people do make a difference.
