In an effort to combat the obstacles against girls in sport and to guide adults through coaching girls in sport, Nike released the Made to Play Coaching Girls Guide in collaboration with We Coach, for adult leaders who lead girls through sports and to retain young female participation. Why did Nike create a Made to Play Coaching Girls Guide? The Made to Play Coaching Girls Guide was created by Nike and We Coach, with support from Youth Sport Trust in EMEA. The Nike Foundation announced a $1 million donation to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. Focus on and celebrate progress to help girls build their confidence.
