The customer, known as 'Mr XXXX' managed to open a new account on the website despite self-excluding from gambling. The governing body ordered Sportsbet pay back $93,082.04 after taking into account money already withdrawn from the account. Mr XXXX told ABC news he wants to see better regulations to protect people who have developed gambling problems. A spokesperson for Sporsbet told Daily Mail Australia in a statement they accept the findings and will promptly refund the customer.
