Spotify has announced the roll out of its AI feature 'DJ' to its premium subscribers in 18 African countries including Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana, six months after launching the feature in North America. The feature is designed for music discovery and plays curated music with AI powered commentary in English language. Spotify's AI DJ is a customised AI guide specifically tailored to your music taste. And listeners will be hearing the voice of Spotify’s Head of Cultural Partnerships Xavier "X" Jernivan, who's the first voice model for the DJ feature. While DJ still remains in its beta stage, it will now be available to premium subscribers in 50 countries around the world.
