Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Anura Kumara Dissanayake today stated that the health mechanisms utilized to curb the spread of the COVID pandemic has been severely compromised. “Many of us are talking about this and letting the authorities know that they can’t find a bed. The government hospital system and the intermediate hospital system are out of beds. He also stated that due to the tactless handling of the spread of the virus, the health authorities have become tired. This arbitrary behavior of the President is taking the lives of human beings in our country today,” he said.
