Following the resignation of Chairman Sarath Ganegoda on March 31, the company is now under the interim guidance of a Treasury official. Mr. Ganegoda and another director Rohan Goonetilleke stepped down from the board without any reasons attributed to the move. Meanwhile the search for a CEO at the airline is on. The final selection is expected to be presented for Cabinet approval soon to end the leadership vacuum.
