IT WILL be defending champion St. Clare College-Caloocan against De Ocampo Memorial College in the finals of the NAASCU Season 17 men’s basketball tournament. St. Clare subdued Colegio de San Lorenzo, 78-70, while De Ocampo crushed St. Francis of Assisi College, 81-65, to arrange a best-of-three title series at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila. Dionisio finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds before fouling out, while Pare added 16 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Chabi Yo carried the fight for CdSL with 32 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks -- all game-highs – but also committed nine turnovers, two in the closing minute. Luke Parcero and Ramlee Lanoy led the Doves’ losing cause with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
