The Form Two students were accused of setting the dorm, which housed 49 students, on fire and destroying their schoolmates' belongings. ALSO READ: Highway secondary closed indefinitely after dawn fireThey denied the charge before Kakamega Principal Magistrate Hazel Wandere and were each released on Sh50,000 bond or a Sh20,000 cash bail. Meanwhile, Ms Wandere allowed the police to detain a man accused of working with others to rob residents of Kakamega and Mumias towns.
