With the Grey Cup over and the celebrations finally begin to taper down just a little bit in Calgary, the CFL offered a preview of what the off-season might hold for the Calgary Stampeders. On Friday morning, the league released its list of potential free agents for the 2019 off-season, and it’s a long one. In total, the Stampeders have 41 players whose contracts are set to expire with the team and who could sign anywhere when free-agency officially begins on February 12, 2019, at 10 a.m..It’s a list that includes several of the team’s biggest stars, including quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell – the reigning CFL Most Outstanding Player – linebacker Alex Singleton, the entire starting defensive line in the Grey Cup and receivers Kamar Jorden, DaVaris Daniels, Eric Rogers, Marken Michel and Chris Matthews. The league’s collective bargaining agreement with the CFLPA is set to expire this off-season, as well, so many players are not expected to sign until the late-spring. Here’s the full list.
