Disney and LucasFilm's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker continued its dominance at the box office for a second straight weekend, while Cats is poised for a big loss. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker took the top spot this weekend with $72 million, according to Box Office Mojo. Its domestic haul is now at $361.8 million, with an additional $363 million from foreign territories for $704.3 million worldwide. Still, The Rise of Skywalker will likely continue to climb up the domestic charts, where it will likely land in third place at the domestic box office. The top 10 is rounded out by Knives Out ($9.7 million), Uncut Gems, which expanded to 2,348 theaters nationwide after a limited debut ($9.5 million), Cats ($4.8 million), Bombshell ($4.7 million) and Richard Jewell ($3 million).
