Photo: CollectedDHAKA, April 2, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. M A Muhit reaffirmed Bangladesh's commitment to global efforts aimed at eliminating blindness, emphasizing the need for coordinated action among stakeholders worldwide. He made the remarks while attending a three-day 'World Eye Conference' in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on preventing visual impairment and advancing global eye health. A five-member Bangladesh delegation, led by Dr. Muhit, took part in the conference held from March 31 to April 2. During the event, the State Minister presented a keynote paper and called for strengthened collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure sustainable progress in global eye health.
