Status Yellow wind and rain warnings issued as weather turns more unsettled


Separate Status Yellow weather warnings have been issued as conditions turn more unsettled. A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for three counties in the south of the country. Cork, Kerry and Waterford will come under the warning from 9am until 9pm on Friday, with spells of heavy rain forecast. Separately, a Status Yellow wind warning for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo will come into place at noon on Friday. Some will turn heavy with a chance of hail or thunder, with highs of 7 to 11C.
