Rainfall sites in the region recorded up to double the normal monthly rainfall figures for the month, according to Taranaki Regional Council analysis. Nearly all sites recorded between 108 per cent and 214 per cent of rainfall, with the monthly average 157 per cent. Rainfall for the year to date is between 95 per cent and 146 per cent normal, with average rainfall 129 per cent normal. Hillsborough, North Taranaki, recorded the highest temperature 19.5 degrees Celsius, while Inglewood recorded the lowest at minus 2.4 degrees Celsius.
