As a person, Healthcare would have been fired decades ago. In 2023 my copay for Humira was $375/month – this is in addition to Medicare premium, BlueShield and Aetna insurance premiums, plus co-pays for other meds. Starting in 2024, my copay for Humira went up to $1,100 per month after the annual deductible, Aetna premium went up by 50% and Medicare went up by 20%. Plus, still no out of pocket cost information available, IF it was available to me. My prediction: Exception will be denied or the out of pocket cost will be close to that of Humira.
