SNC-Lavalin has pled guilty and paid $280 million in fines in connection with these dealings with Libya. And it gets even more damning — a senior officer of SNC-Lavalin has been found guilty of fraud and corruption charges in connection with Libya after a six-week jury trial in Quebec. What does this say about the Prime Minister and his senior advisors? And now even a jury has declared that this corruption was without a reasonable doubt contrary to the laws of Canada — no wonder SNC-Lavalin pled guilty within days of the jury decision! Actions such as this by Justin Trudeau, much less a government that has once again touted its transparency, can not be left unresolved.
