Sterling Suffolk Files Explosive Claim Against Wynn Resorts

Sterling Suffolk Racecourse, LLC, filed a claim in federal court (Massachusetts Case No: 1:18-cv-11963) that Wynn Resorts was involved in a number of improprieties associated with its bid to obtain a Massachusetts gaming license. Crosby then recused himself from any decision on the gaming license award for the region where Wynn was competing against Sterling. Wynn was awarded the gaming license in December 2014 with three commissioners voting for Wynn and one for Suffolk (Crosby had recused himself). Even as allegations of bias by Crosby and the entire MGC swirled, Wynn bulldozed ahead with construction of the casino. If true, Sterling's case could not only put Wynn's gaming license in jeopardy, it could also lead to criminal indictments.
