As a Canadian, he runs both the 100 and the 200 and is equally competitive on the world stage in both races. Johnson didn’t run the 200. Apparently, De Grasse didn’t adhere to strategic way in the 100-metre final. In the last seven individual big event races, Olympics, Worlds, Pan Ams, NCAAs, De Grasse has been on the podium seven times. There is time and room for De Grasse to become best in the world: He doesn’t need shelter from any storm anymore.
