Stirling Albion have put manager Alan Maybury on gardening leave having decided not to extend the Dublin native’s contract beyond the end of the current season. "Alan joined us in a difficult period following our relegation from League 1,” Stirling chairman Fraser McIntyre told the club’s official website on Easter Monday. “I am disappointed to be leaving Stirling Albion after being informed that my contract will not be renewed,” posted the 47-year-old. “In the 2024/25 season, we recorded the third-highest match minutes for Scottish players under 21. I truly appreciate your effort and support, and I wish everyone at the club the very best for the future.”
