Storm Dave is a low-pressure system coming in from the Atlantic Ocean that will bring "very strong winds" from Saturday afternoon (April 4). Much of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the north of England and some sections of north Wales are included in the weather warning area. “As well as strong winds, Storm Dave will also bring heavy snowfall over the hills in northern Scotland where up to 10-20cm of snow could accumulate. "Along with the strong winds this will lead to blizzard conditions. The Met Office said a number of factors were considered for including a name on the list.
