Strengthening Sri Lanka’s health policy: USJ, World Bank host workshop View(s):The Department of Business Economics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health & Mass Media and the World Bank Group, will organize the Health Economic Analysis for Evidence-Driven Health Policies Workshop 2026 on March 3–4, 2026 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Colombo . This high-level two-day workshop aims to strengthen Sri Lanka’s capacity in health economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA), supporting evidence-based, fiscally sustainable health policy decisions. Day 2 will provide hands-on training sessions on conducting cost-effectiveness analysis, methodological case studies, and group-based priority-setting exercises relevant to Sri Lanka’s health system. Senior academics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura will also contribute to the sessions.
