Striegl Fight Canceled – The Manila Times

Filipino American Mark Striegl’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut has been put on hold until further notice. The 2019 Southeast Asian Games sambo 74-kg division gold medalist told The Manila Times on Friday in an online interview that his August 22 fight in Las Vegas, Nevada was canceled, but he did not elaborate why. “My fight is canceled. Going against Valiev, Trevin Jones is replacing Striegl in the UFC fight on the ESP15, featuring Frankie Edgar, who has a 23-8-1 win-lose-draw record, going against Pedro Munhoz, who has an 18-4 record, as the main event. Despite being bumped off, Striegl has still four fights left in his recently signed contract with UFC.
