Twin Rivers Unified and the Twin Rivers Unified Educators have reached a tentative agreement, ending the 12-day strike. “This contract is a massive shift in how our district prioritizes students and classrooms.”Teachers will return to classrooms on Monday, March 23. Twin Rivers Unified has been on strike since Thursday, March 5th. Assemblywoman Maggie Krell reached out to both the district and the union with negotiations to attempt to resolve the previous impasse. Assemblyman Josh Hoover, Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes and Mayor Pro Tem Eric Guerra also expressed concern regarding the strikes.
