Students’ Council Proposes Emergency Plenary and Ceasefire ResolutionOn Monday, February 19, Students’ Council announced their intentions to trigger a historic emergency Plenary and introduced a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Concurrently, the resolution writers must collect the signatures of 200 students in support of the resolution for it to be presented at the emergency plenary. Once the necessary signatures are collected, the emergency plenary town hall will take place on Thursday, February 29, following standard plenary procedures. Due to the ambiguity regarding the process of emergency plenary in the Constitution of the Students’ Association, the Co-Presidents met with the Students’ Council Election Coordinators to receive their interpretation of the section.
