An initiative of the Bengal Rowing Club, which hosts rowing championships for school and college students every year, the Row to Grow camp was aimed at encouraging first-time rowers. "I am expecting friendly matches in different sports during the exchange programme. The participants at the camp toiled for eight hours everyday for seven days to test their potential in the water sport. William Patrick, a physical education teacher at St Augustine's Day School, Calcutta, wanted to gift the power of rowing to his students.
