Students to get admission assistance of Tk 6,000 in class XI, application starts on Apr 12File photoDHAKA, April 10, 2026 (BSS) - The government will provide a one-timeadmission assistance of Taka 6,000 to financially insolvent and meritoriousstudents admitted to higher secondary and equivalent levels (XI and Alim 1styear) in the 2025-26 academic year. Students can apply for this assistance through the Prime Minister's EducationAssistance Trust from 9 am on April 12. The Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust has issued a notification tothis end. After that, Taka 6,000 will be sent directly to the onlinebank account of the student or guardian in favour of the finally selectedstudents. The notification mentioned that for any information regarding assistance, thehelpline numbers (01778958356, 01778964156) can be contacted during officehours.
