Sudan, Ethiopia sign MoUs on economy - Xinhua

Sudan's Vice President, Osman Mohamed Yousif Kibir, and the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister, Demeke Mekonnen, chaired the committee's meetings. "The higher committee has managed to reach economic and commercial MoUs covering trade, customs, industry, animal resources, communications, railways and roads fields," said Kibir at a joint press conference with Mekonnen. Kibir reiterated Sudan government's commitment to develop the relations with Ethiopia in all fields in a manner that achieves the interests of the two peoples. Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Thursday received Mekonnen and the accompanying delegation.
