Creating your own “hour through the day” is beneficial for a number of reasons. Firstly, it does away with the pressure of finding hours in the day for self-care. If you can’t find pockets of time in your day that add up to an hour, you can aim for a half-hour through your day. These five- to 10-minute pockets of time can serve as pressure valves that help you de-stress through the day.
