Prevailing southerly to southwesterly winds would bring mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies to Taiwan over the next five days, CWA forecaster Huang En-hung (黃恩鴻) said. Isolated afternoon showers are expected in mountainous areas, while moisture would increase slightly on Saturday, bringing scattered showers to areas north of Taoyuan and Yilan County, Huang said. Southerly to southwesterly winds are expected to bring mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies to Taiwan over the next five days. Low clouds or localized fog might affect visibility in western Taiwan early this morning and in outlying Kinmen County over the next three days, he said.
