Stable and mostly clear skies are forecast for the west, while eastern Taiwan and eastern parts of Taipei and New Taipei City might experience occasional localized rain, he said. Another northeast monsoon system is forecast to arrive on Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures, along with increased cloud cover and rain to northern and eastern Taiwan, he added.
