Super Muslim banned as Govt. updates terror list View(s):A Muslim terror group, formed in India in 2018 ahead of the Easter Sunday attack, is the latest addition to Sri Lanka’s list of proscribed organisations and designated persons, according to a revised Extraordinary Gazette released this week. The organisation, known as Super Muslim a.k.a. Sahabi Tharika, the newest addition to the list, is reported to have been operational in Sri Lanka since 2019. The revised list also extended the ban on Tamil diaspora and Muslim organisations for engaging in terrorism-related activities and terrorism funding.
