Martin Kelleher, the head of Musgrave’s retail chains SuperValu and Centra, is leaving the business. The group confirmed on Tuesday that Mr Kelleher “has decided to step down as managing director of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland and leave Musgrave”. Mr Keeley said the departing Mr Kelleher “has contributed significantly to the success of the business” and had overseen “significant growth and development” of its brands. It insisted Mr Kelly would work with Mr Kelleher to ensure a “smooth transition”. The Irish Times attempted to contact Mr Kelleher at his Cork home, but he had not responded prior to publication.
