According to a petition, Salgado, 50, shared photos on the Instagram account @sexsurgeon that violated patient privacy policies and that contained 'racist, transphobic, homophobic comments and hashtags'. Other photos showed male and female genitalia in various stages of surgery. However, sources have claimed that his Instagram account had been hacked. Salgado, who has never been disciplined by the Florida Department of Health, also met with Jennings for a gender reassignment consultation.
