Leading plastic surgeons claimed that fireworks were marketed in such a way as to echo the visual language of sweets and games, with warnings buried in small boxes on the backs of the items. Colourful stalls are also often set up at the front of shops, the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (Bapras) said.
