Police officers in Manyatta Metameta, Kisumu County rescued two people suspected of theft from an angry mob on Wednesday, November 30. According to the police, the gang of three met their proverbial 40 days when residents violently descended on them but a third suspect managed to swiftly escape. The irate mob that was baying for their blood prepared a fire to burn the deviants believed to have orchestrated a series of house break-ins in the area. An assortment of goods, phones and electronics recovered in Manyatta Metameta, Kisumu County on Wednesday, November 30. Mob justice is however highly discouraged in the country following the risk of lynching innocent persons.
